Traffic Jam Weekend Link Party

Welcome back to Traffic Jam Weekend! I am so glad to have you here. Before we get to the fantastic features and our lovely link party, I’d like to share one of my tutorials from this week with you.

I have started to decorate my home for summer. My entire home will have a beach theme. As I was removing my spring decor items from my bookcase, I realized I didn’t have enough summer pieces to fill it. I had recently made a trip to Dollar Tree and bought this table top sign saying LOVE. I removed a boxwood wreath that made up the O in the word and added a nautical rope instead. I painted the base to match my home colors, and added some seashells. I plan to change the sign for each season and holiday; adding flowers to the O for spring, heart gems for Valentine’s Day, etc. Check out the tutorial here to make your own!

Table-top sign- the word LOVE in galvanized metal, with nautical rope making up the O. A small white and tan seashell in the O and a white and brown conch shell at the end of a robin's egg blue base. Sign submitted for the link party.

  1. Thanks for hosting Niki! I so appreciate the feature and I hope you will post your version using reversed canvases. Sounds amazing. I love what you did adding the rope and shells to your sign. It’s perfect for your beach themed home. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!
